2020 Crescent Beach Birds featuring the Piping Plover

Piping plovers chose to nest on Crescent this year of 2020. Likely the closing of the beach through April and May was critical to helping them make this choice. Following are roughly chronological series of photos from eggs in the nest to pre-fledging. Note: all photos taken from at least 25 feet away.
